Wide receivers weight

June 28, 2019 by Editor

Wide receivers typically have a weight from 175-230lbs.

You may be surprised to know that wide receivers don’t weigh alot. They look big and athletic, but they are built with lean, quality muscle.

The player needs to be able to shift their weight so that they can do explosive movements and change direction so they can run the routes, beat the defender, and get into open space.

Therefore, the weight of the player needs to be optimized so that they can function as needed on the football field.

Another measurement that should be considered is the body fat percentage that football players hold. As a wide receiver, your athletic movements should allow you to hold under 12% body fat. (Source)

Part of the success in getting this will be from your wide receiver diet, and the exercise and fitness regime.
