How to take body measurements

January 24, 2022 by Editor

When you are taking body measurements for football, you should consider the functional movement that’s optimal for your position and performance on the field.

There are a few body measurements that you should consider monitoring to help with the development of your football performance.

Body weight

Weigh yourself on scales to track your body weight. You want to develop lean, functional muscle that is dense, and that will allow you to excel on the field.

Body fat

You want to track this along with your body weight to ensure that you aren’t losing muscle mass, which could impact your body’s performance on the field.

Ideally, do a Dexa scan to monitor your body fat, bone density, and muscle density and bone density.
