According to Go Big Recruiting, the ideal weight of a wide receiver should be 190lbs.

Of that weight, the wide receiver should aim to have less than 15% body fat.

Weight x speed = Power

The weight of the footballer is one aspect that can provide an advantage. However, if they want their weight to be meaningful, they need to be able to turn that weight into power on the field.

To do so, the footballer must be able to accelerate and drive with a heavy and lean frame.
